As a starter, I ordered the blue crab hand roll which was not my favorite because the sesame oil masked the flavor of crab. I wish they didnt' coat everything in the sesame oil because this had so much potential.”

Chef Damon Cho graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in California. With over 18 years of restaurant experience as a chef at Nobu, Four Seasons and Tao to learn the core values of the culinary field and good customer service. He continuously worked hard to develop quality recipes. He opened his first Japanese restaurant in San Francisco in 2009, the restaurant became a great success. It led to the opening of its second location in San Francisco in 2012. Since then, he has strived to share his belief that restaurants should not only be where people eat, but where people gather with family and friends for a quality time. With that in mind, he opened a Japanese restaurant called Izakaya Osen in 2017 at Silverlake. He will open Japanese restaurant at Irvine in October, 2022 and Omakase by Osen, specializes in Omakase and Hand Roll is opened from October 10th, 2022.

With over 20 years of Japanese restaurant experience as a chef at Momoyama and Irori, he learned the core values of the culinary field. Over the years, he fine-tuned his skills under a number of talented chefs. Since then, he is still challenged with one goal in mind: create the ultimate dining experience for guests in both artistic presentation and surprising flavors. Starting in 2018, he is the head chef of Izakaya Osen, serving the best meals to guests with artistic expression and amazing taste.

Mike is a results-oriented real estate investment advisor and agent with 19 years of experience in commercial real estate, business development, consulting and assisting numerous business owners in making the best decisions for their investment and expansions. With his extensive market knowledge and devotion, he is working on expanding Osen brands to multiple locations in the near future.
